Wheel Chair Facilities Cyprus with its mountainous landscapes, cobbly paths, uneven pavements planted with trees does not immediately sound like a wheelchair friendly holiday destination. However the most towns in Cyprus are flat and most places are easily accessible with a wheelchair. In Lefkosia (Nicosia), quite a number of roads have ramps as well as certain entertainment places. Also there are several organisations, companies and people who specialise in holidays for the disabled, renting equipment, providing airport transfers and excursions in specially adapted transfer vehicles, disab... Red, White and Rose Cyprus Wine - Cyprus commadaria RED wines are generally more suited to the stronger food tastes -beef, lamb, steak, stews, casseroles and stronger cheeses. Some are smooth and mellow, others are fuller and more vigorous. The three on this page are examples of the mellower Cyprus reds. Like all red wines, they are best served at room temperature. White & Rose Wines HERE is a selection of our dry white wines. They tend to be softer than the very driest European wines because Cypriot grapes are so full and lush. These wines should not be over-chilled: t... [read more]
