Diving and Watersports

Diving in the East Mediterranean sea, on the island of Cyprus is the perfect location for both beginners and experienced divers. With its sub tropical climate, water temperatures can range from 17 degrees, on cold winter days, to 30 degrees in the middle of summer. Underwater visibility is normally very good and can reach up to 45 meters.

Discovering the underwater world is an amazing and very exciting experience. You can choose to go snorkelling over the coral reef, taking in all the colours of the variety of aquatic life, or for a more dramatic experience take part in scuba diving. Experience breathing under water, gliding along the reefs and becoming one with the aquatic life and natural environment.

A number of courses are available, from ‘Discover Scuba Diving', which is a beginner's course, to ‘Bubblemaker' for children, ‘PADI Scuba Diver' and ‘PADI Open Water Diver', and much, much more.

Get the opportunity to discover wrecks such as the world famous Zenobia and Achilleas. As a result of Cyprus being formed volcanically, the shore dives around Paphos feature dramatic underwater architecture in relatively shallow depths, but can also reach depths of up 30 meters, therefore providing satisfactory diving for all levels.

Should you prefer to be more above sea level, than under it, there are lots of water sporting activities you can take part in, from paragliding, to jet bikes, water skiing, banana boats and rings, canoes, waker boarding, knee boarding and lots more.

Or why not try cruising. There are a number of boating trips you can take. Discover the Cyprus coastline in a number of ways, either sailing around the Akamas peninsular, discovering the many rocky coves and secret bays, take a romantic sunset cruise or enjoy an action packed evening on a Cyprus or Millionaires night.

The options are endless!!!
