The Cyprus Tourism Organisation (C.T.O.) was established and operates according to the provisions of the Cyprus Tourism Organisation Law 1969 - 1999 and the related Regulations on Structure and terms of employment and Administration and Finance.
According to the Law, the aim of the CTO is to organise and promote tourism in the Republic of Cyprus, by using all possibilities and resources available.
Cyprus Tourism Organisation is a statutory body responsible for tourist planning and research and the development and marketing of the tourist product.
Cyprus Tourism Organisation is run by a nine - member Board of Directors. The Organisation consists of the office of the Director-General and four Departments: The Administration Department, the Tourist Organisation (Planning) Department, the Promotion Department and the Tourist Services Department. The head office is in Lefkosia .
1. The Regional offices of the organisation consist of:
a) The tourist information offices operating in: Lefkosia, Lemesos, Larnaka, Agia Napa, Protaras, Pafos, Kato Pafos, Larnaka Airport, Pafos Airport, Lemesos Port, Germasogia, Platres and Polis Chrysochous.
b) The inspectors' offices operating in: Lefkosia, Lemesos, Larnaka, Pafos, Agia Napa and Polis.
c) The Larnaka Marina.
2. The organisation operates tourist offices in London, Dublin, Frankfurt, Berlin, Paris, Stockholm, Athens, Milan, Zurich, Brussels, Amsterdam, Vienna, New York, Moscow, Tel Aviv, Budapest, Prague, Warsaw, Dubai and Helsinki
