 Coral Bay is situated on the Southwest coast of Cyprus, just North of Paphos. In the past it was just a Bay, however, it has now grown into a resort with several large hotels, numerous villas, bars and restaurants. The beach at Coral Bay is said to be the best on the West Coast, with its crystal clear waters and fine-grained sandy beach, bordered by limestone. There are plenty of water sports available and several bars situated on the beach. Coral Bay is also excellent for diving. Courses are available for both beginners and experienced divers. Diving sites in Coral Bay The Wreck of the Zenobia is the forth largest wreck in the world that you can dive to. This is usually a day trip for experienced divers only. Akamas Peninsular is a popular dive especially in the summer time when it is the season of the turtles. Maninji Island is possibly the most scenic dive on the coast. It is between 8 and 20 meters deep, with cliff caves, corals and swim throughs. |
